Eka Perunicic
Eka is a contemporary dancer whose artistry is deeply rooted in her multicultural heritage. Born in India to an Indian and Italian family, she moved to Melbourne, Australia at the age of four and begun training at the National Theatre Ballet School under Beverly Jane Fry. Eka’s foundation is built on classical ballet, though she has explored contemporary, jazz, and flamenco, and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts and Dance.
Eka’s journey as a professional dancer has taken her across many international stages, from West Australian Ballet to Ballet Cymru, and more recently, as a soloist with Kamea Dance Company. These experiences pushed Eka to evolve and grow as both human and artist.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with some of the world’s most renowned choreographers, including Lucette Aldous, Tamir Ginz, David Nixon, Darius James, and Beverly Fry. These partnerships have been instrumental in refining her craft, fuelling her desire to push the boundaries of performance.
