Reggaeton originated in Puerto Rico in the ’90s and is a global fusion of Latin music, reggae and hip-hop. It’s a free and sexy style, popular in nightclubs, that can be fast and energetic or slow and flowy. The foundations of this style are based around hip movements, grinding, body waves and isolation techniques, creating an overall awareness of the body.
